FAQ's for Benedictine Tech Ministries

What experience and education do the technicians of Benedictine Tech Ministries have?

Our Tier 1 technicians are mostly self-taught from working in their own monasteries. The COVID pandemic provided the opportunity to enhance their learning by forcing  us to learn how to create hybrid events for our own communities. We have now taken that knowledge out to offer help to others communities who might need it.

What can I expect once I submit a quote for services?

You will receive an email from Sister Tamra from the email address bentechministries@gmail.com. She will communicate with you regarding your needs and our ability to serve your needs. She will also provide a monetary quote and service agreement which will spell out what we need from you to provide services for your event. After this is completed and signed by you the client, a technician will be assigned to you for your event at which point, she will become your main point of contact.

We have a fully encompassed system to meet all your technology needs. Items include:

  • A 360 degree camera for small group interactions.

  • A PTZ (point-tilt-zoom) camera for the back of the room to focus on the presenter.

  • We can also have 3 other cameras around the room if we want to change to angles that the back PTZ can’t show.

  • A projector and presenter laptop.

  • A technician host laptop that will run the details of the Zoom - chat, breakout rooms, etc.

  • A Lightspeed Tek Redcat speaker/microphone system in the room with 2 presenter mics that go to that speaker AND directly into the Zoom.

  • A Lightspeed Tek T3 system with 12 table mics - they go to the speaker and directly into the Zoom.

Do you have referrals that we can contact regarding your services?

We are still a new ministry but once we get some references, we will create a TESTIMONIALS page on our web page here for you to reference.
