Sister Michelle Sinkhorn

Sister Michelle works as an assistant to the IT Director of her monastery, serves as the Director of the Wisdom Connections Timeless Traditions - Technological Times, and works in her community's Immigration Office as a DOJ Accredited Representative. She has also been assisting the CIB, CBP, and her community with hybrid meetings since 2020.

Sister Tamra Thomas

Sister Tamra is the Monastery Technology Coordinator for her monastery working with equipment from large room systems to small personal devices. The largest part of her job is technology education and cybersecurity. She also assists in her community’s Spirituality Center and is part of a team of sisters that volunteer to clean Habitat for Humanity houses after construction is done. She has been leading a team of sisters doing hybrid meetings and livestreaming events since 2016.

Sister Raphaela Cady

Sister Raphaela is passionate about creating spaces for people to connect, conspire, and collaborate together. Due to the pandemic, her focus has been mostly on finding ways to integrate
physical and virtual spaces into a hybrid gathering spaces. She has created two mobile hybrid meeting spaces for St. Placid Priory. She assists in troubleshooting and updating of St. Placid’s technology as the priory house manager. Her creative ministry is continuous in imagining and creating new venues and possibilities where hybrid spaces could be a solution for the distance, isolation, and disengagement experienced by many individuals seeking spiritual growth and connection both though Benedictine Tech Ministries and creating content for hybrid retreats through the Spirituality Center.

Sister Stefanie MacDonald

Sister Stefanie is a member of the Benedictine Sisters of Saint Mary Monastery in Rock Island, Illinois. Her current ministry is teaching Preschool at Our Lady of Grace Academy, East Moline, IL. Sister Stefanie has a deep love of music, nature and catholic education, as well as a passion for the Benedictine monastic life and people with disabilities.
